I have known Libby Hoffman for 13 years. Libby joined my family’s business in 2003 and quickly became an important part of Seaver-Brown Funeral Service’s successful operation.
As our firm’s Legal Assistant, Libby is the first point of contact for Mountain Empire Legal Services and is actively involved with all of my clients. She regularly meets with clients to help them organize and gather information. She assists in preparation and filing of court documents and works with me to ensure that all of our clients receive the best possible service.
Libby’s ability to research court documents, tenacity, and detail orientation are a natural fit for Elder Law and our firm. One of Libby’s talents is to mesh kindness and patience with efficiency. She has the ability to cut through the clutter and get to the heart of the matter.
Libby’s career has encompassed a wide range of experience. She has worked as a Credit Manager, Accounts Receivable Manager, Customer Service Manager, and as Assistant General Manager for the General Francis Marion Hotel, Marion, VA. This career path has served to hone her considerable people skills.
I am fortunate that Libby has agreed to work with me. Her commitment, experience, and skill set are invaluable.
Libby has lived in Marion since 1976. She is married to Neil and has two sons, one of whom owns and operates The Wooden Pickle restaurant in Marion. An avid reader, Libby enjoys travel and cooking for her family on Sunday.
